Leealexanderandco.com sells a very niche product: memorial and cremation jewelry. Unlike most of their competition, they sell high quality, expensive custom pieces including 18K gold and VS F+ diamonds and gemstones. Their market is small and difficult to get in front of at the right time.
This microblading and microblading training website launched in 2019 to a saturated market. They came to us ranking for only 3 keywords (none of any value) and zero organic traffic. The competition was years ahead of them. Getting new websites to rank in Google is notoriously difficult, but can be done. They currently rank for over 2,000 keywords in Google, 284 of which are on page 1.

Some businesses need national or even global visitors to their website. Others only need visitors from a local area, such as a Jiu Jitsu gym. For example, if your gym is in Arizona, you don’t need website traffic from New York. Local vs national/global are 2 very different SEO strategies. With local SEO, Google wants to see Jiu Jitsu content on your site that provides information that’s helpful to people in your community. It also helps, but not required, to have a verified Google Profile (Google My Business, or GMB). Deeper SEO includes map citations, business listings and other professional tactics.
Some Jiu Jitsu gyms have multiple locations, sometimes in the same city. SEO efforts can be targeted to an individual location, for example in the case of a new gym opening, or all locations can be targeted at once for an overall boost. Local SEO can be isolated down to a specific zip code. Most Jiu Jitsu gym members live within a 10 mile radius.
No. Although having a GMB makes things easier, by no means is it required! We’ve achieved top placement in Google for many customers who have no physical presence in the area. But most Jiu Jitsu businesses have a physical location, so if you don’t already have a GMB, we can help get you one fast.
Yes, absolutely! However, it does require a GMB account. Only verified GMB accounts will show in Google maps. If you don’t have a GMB, we will help you get one. If you don’t have a local address and cannot get a GMB, we can get you to the top of regular search results, but not the map pack. But most Jiu Jitsu gyms have a physical address.
